About Us
The Physical Therapy Business Alliance
We seek to become a powerful voice for free enterprise in physical therapy in environments such as Congress, regulatory agencies, and the all-important court of public opinion. Likewise, our vision is to provide focused, agile, and unencumbered response to legislative and payment challenges to improve business conditions for independent physical therapy practices.
We strongly believe that an organization of physical therapy businesses can be a potent force in affecting change and meeting those challenges deemed as threats to our clinical and business success. While our profession has successful organizations of “individuals” (American Physical Therapy Association, Sections of the Association, Components), a void exists in which the professional interests of physical therapy can be championed as businesses.
